Imagine if you will, the crazy love child of The Doors, Jeff Buckley, Pink Floyd, Santana, Chris Isaak and Billy Idol. The songs of Is Man Kind will excite the soul. Offering the audio palate an enormous soundscape of what can only be described as - the 'Super Sexy Satisfaction' - an alluring escape from the grip of mediocrity, as you wildly traverse your unique moment of "WOW". 

Formed as the trio in the winter of 2021, Is Man Kind unleashed the raw talents of Capt Jack upon the stage. Mars and Doc, previously known as 'The Fool', played up and down the QLD stretch as a father/son powerhouse duo. 

Building from the eccentric energy that flows like a torrent river, Doc provides the rhythmic backbone to a new and untold story. And then, with a Fools abandon, the musical prowess of Mars engulfs the rhythm and explodes with a sound you'd never expect an acoustic guitar to make...But it was then, that the trio asked for 'keys, yes please!' And Capt. Jack, with his ever present glimmer of 'Hmmmm' just grinned his resolve, And garnished the soundscape with hook notes and thumping rhythms. 

This dynamic trio has a uniqueness which comes from the individuality of each person within the group, thus creating some kind of abstract cohesion. A cohesion of chaos and harmony. A true  - Love Hate Soul Mate.

Influenced by the many moods and generations of rock, blues, 60's Mexicana and dark country, Is Man Kind will croon the savage heart like a lover's finger tips tracings precariously atop your skin. They’ve shared stages with Australian legends including the Hoodoo Gurus, The Filthy Animals, The Radiators, Spy V Spy and The Hard Ons (Tim Rogers).
